Flame retardant

For items with synthetic fibres made of crease-resistant fabric, load only half the maximum weight into the machine.
Hand wash only in lukewarm or warm water. Wash wool only according to the wool wash programmes and load only 1/3 or 1/4 of the maximum weight.

Weight

Weight in grams per linear metre.

Lightfastness

Discolouration caused by sunlight, measured on a scale of 1 to 8. Reynaldo fabrics have a standard lightfastness value of 5 and aim for a value of 6.

Shrinkage

Shrinkage after washing or steaming is indicated on the sample material, along with the recommended cleaning method.

Martindale

Abrasion resistance:

  • Decorative use < 8,000 Martindale
  • Normal use 8,000–45,000 Martindale
  • Intensive use > 45,000 Martindale
